Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing. ~ Psalm 100:1-2
There has been a choir singing for this congregation since its founding in the 19th century. Today, the Chancel Choir at St. Paul's provides musical leadership at the 10:15 worship service during the music season (Labor Day through the Day of Pentecost) and at special services throughout the year. The choir performs a wide range of choral music literature in a variety of styles, from Southern Gospel to Gregorian Chant and many things in between, and in several languages.
Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings @ 7:00 pm or before Sunday morning before the worship service from late August through May. Call the church for correct days and times.
The Chancel Choir is directed by Gayle Kryling, Choir Director.
The Choir Welcomes Additional Voices! The Choir is open to anyone middle school-aged or older. No audition is required. If you can read music and would enjoy an hour of singing, fellowship, and fun on Sunday afternoons, please consider singing with the choir as part of your worship experience at St. Paul's.
